Years after Lucia Grace says her final goodbyes to her mortal parents, she and Belle begin yet another new life away from Destiny Bay.

Lucia Grace meets Nathaniel and finds herself falling in love, not realising he is her guardian angel tasked with watching over her, and has broken one of their most sacred rules; no contact with the Fallen. Their relationship blossoms despite having to navigate all the rules they break on a daily basis, but little do they know that it is all about to come crashing down around them when Lucia Grace meets Elliot, the mortal boy she is destined to be with in accordance to the restrictions of the curse that runs in her blood.

Her prophecy states that Lucia Grace is challenged with breaking the curse placed on the Fallen, and fate assumes she will accomplish that with her destined mate. She must now choose between the boy she knows she is destined to be with, and the angel that holds her heart.
