this book is a sociopolitical exploration and analysis of political turmoil in post-independence South Sudan. The book built the narrative on Sudanese and South Sudanese historical accounts, and the South Sudanese's long struggle to attain a country. The book raises concerns about governance, tribal thinking, and power races among different political actors. The book brings to light what oligarchies can do when petty politics overshadow national agendas. The book further examined the drawbacks of violent politics and its subsequent backwardness within the context of the globalized economies of the world.
