Shipping & Delivery

Customer orders are shipped from our warehouse within 24 to 48 hrs of receiving a successful payment. Your tracking information will be emailed to you upon shipping, as well as, can be found in your customer account.

Any customer whose order is found to be temporarily out of stock will be notified via email that their order has been placed on back order. Back ordered books will be shipped within 24hrs of the book becoming available at our warehouse. At which time you will receive an email informing you that your order has been shipped.

MahoganyBooks will never send you an email requesting specific personal, financial, or credit card information. If you receive such an email, DO NOT RESPOND, it did not originate from us. Although , these emails may look like official MahoganyBooks.com communications and may ask you to provide this information to "confirm your account." These so-called “phishing” expeditions are usually attempts to steal your identity and defraud you. Please forward it to customerservice@mahoganybooks.com so we can take appropriate action.

Returns & Replacements

Our goal is to ensure that your experience with MahoganyBooks is both enjoyable & honorable. Therefore, we have crafted the following return policy to meet your needs and keep you protected as a consumer. Please refer to the information below for details on how to return your product(s). Time Limit

MahoganyBooks must receive notification of your intent to return a product within 3 days of you receiving your product(s). The book(s) must then be returned to the MahoganyBooks office within 10 days of receiving your Return Authorization Number.

Condition

Books must be returned using the return address label included in your shipment along with a Return Authorization Number affixed to your invoice. Failure to include a Return Authorization Number may either delay your refund or lead to your return being denied.

All books returned for a refund must be in perfect condition, exhibiting no wear. We retain the right to refuse a refund to any item that exhibits wear or has been returned after the 13 day grace period.

Shipping Responsibility

Purchases that are accepted for a refund will only be credited the purchase price of the book. Shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.

Prior to returning your item please email our Customer Service department to obtain a Return Authorization Number.

The staff at MahoganyBooks is excited to recognize book clubs that promote the often overlooked joy of reading. Because of your efforts, many African American authors continue to find a place inside of your homes through your monthly get- togethers! For this, we say thank you and as a token of our appreciation, would like to extend a discount of up to 20% to you and your members on any book club purchase. To qualify, simply order 10 or more books of the same title and you will receive a 20% discount towards your purchase. For smaller book clubs that are just getting started we offer a 10% discount on orders of 5 to 9 books of the same title.

Viewing Orders

To check your order status, log-in to your customer account. You will also receive an email confirming the receipt of your order and a follow-up email when your order has been shipped along with your tracking number.

Any customer whose order is found to be temporarily out of stock will be notified via email that their order has been placed on back order. If your product has not arrived please email customer service with your order & tracking number and we will assist you in locating your product(s). If all else fails we will re-ship your order at no cost to you.
